Debstudio was approached by a previous client to refurbish their apartment corridor, located on the top floor of an apartment complex in New Farm.

The two residences were after a corridor that was more reflective of their recently refurbished apartments and needed to be neutral enough to work with both of their interiors.  We repainted the existing feature wall and ceiling in a dark paint and clad it with timber batten panelling.  A custom timber shelf was added to align with the depth of the updated feature wall and also helps frame the new artwork. Other minor adjustments were made to the lighting, including a new spotlight to highlight the original painting.  A darker carpet, which was already selected by the Body Corporate, adds more contrast and ties in nicely with the dark features.

As you can see below from the before and afters, the refurbishment gives a much more vibrant and upmarket feel, while still being neutral and welcoming to the residences and their visitors.
